There's no limit to topics fit for Metafilter readers. There are links about the possibility of war with Iraq and about Albert Einstein's birthday, some from mainstream publications, others from the very fringe. Everything from Iraq to the anniversary of Einstein's birthday is offered up for dissection. Haughey has no plans to operate the site for profit. Last year members donated half of the $3,000 needed for a new server.
