HI NEIGHBOR!

October 1997
updated October 2002

Community and communication, two of the most important resources for successful living. One strengthens the other and in our rapidly developing society both are of premium importance. Like it or not, we are all back on the frontier. Computer chips and rapid advancements in other technologies have done this to us.

Other frontiers in America's history were opened first by traveling down waterways, then later over roads, railroads, highways, and airports. In this new century our new frontier is navigated through online communications.

Throughout America's history communities developed and sometimes dissolved around the fate of the transportation resources which nourished them. Rivers and railroads powered the development of our area. Rivers are mostly used for recreation these days, but the railroads, as anybody who has ears or a place you need to drive in a hurry knows, are still very much with us. It's my hope that
Communication Station will help build new local communities and provide assistance for Web travelers. We're just a little bit ahead of our time, and we intend to stay there!

A NEW KIND OF COMMUNITY

CStation will always be developing and changing. But some things will always remain the same. We are working to develop community.   For instance CStation is an interactive media. Which means users can give and take as they wish interacting with news stories, discussions of different topics, finding information on all kinds of area happenings, while participating in all of the good stuff the World Wide Web has to offer. Only you won't have to leave home or our local community to get involved.

Communication is CStation's product. CStation offers special topical station sites for entertainment, sports, computer advise and news. Those interested in long distance travel, will find CStation provides hyperlinks to some of the most interesting places on the World Wide Web. Just like Disneyland, The Communication Station will never be finished. So drop by and watch us grow. After all, we are neighbors now!
